Quantitative LC-MS/MS for Host Cell Protein Analysis in Biopharmaceutical Development and Production

This whitepaper presents current best practices in HCP analysis (methods, qualified standards etc.) for application in development and production of biopharmaceuticals in light of meeting the demands of regulatory agencies.

LC-MS/MS system calibration using peptide reference standards

Generation of reliable data depends on the optimal performance of mass spectrometry instrumentations. In this whitepaper we present our peptide calibration standards for monitoring sample preparation artifacts, instrument performance and chromatographic retention time.

Quality control of recombinant proteins and medical products using LC-MS/MS – Quantification of Host Cell Proteins

Our application note describes how we use LC-MS/MS for unbiased detection of HCPs but also for targeted detection of the most critical HCPs and for quantification of the contaminations using reference standards like QconCATs.

Quality control using LC-MS/MS

Intra-sample three-point quantitative calibration

We show the advantages and drawbacks of metabolic QconCAT labelling using 15N salt and/or 13C glucose compared to classical SILAC labelling. By spiking multiple differently labelled QconCATs at increasing concentrations into the same sample, we establish an intra-sample three-point calibration curve.

The impact of sample processing on data quality in plasma proteomics

In this whitepaper we examine the effect of sample preparation on various quality values (e.g. overall signal intensity, number of identified peptides/proteins, missed cleavages etc.).

Mass spectrometry-based Detection of SARS-CoV-2 Infection

In this whitepaper we describe the development of Cov-MS for detection of SARS-CoV-2 infection in nasopharyngeal swabs and its suitability in clinical assays.
